Christmas Tree Decorating

We decorated our tree on Friday and the boys had a great time. This was the first year Ryan could really participate and he was so excited to see all the different type of ornaments we have.

Thanksgiving Feast

Matthew's class had a Thanksgiving Feast on Tuesday, I got to sneak away from my class for a little bit so I could snap a few photos. Matthew was so excited to have me in his class with him. The boys got to choose to be either a pilgrim or an Indian and as you can see Matthew was a Pilgrim.

Trip to the Zoo

Ryan and I went to the zoo with some friends and he had a blast. He really enjoyed seeing the penguins.

Picture with Santa

The boys and I went to the mall today so they could pick out their ornament for this year. Every year I take the kids to Hallmark so they can pick out a new ornament for the tree, it's always fun to see what they'll choose. This year Ryan chose Buzz Lightyear, Matthew choose Little Einstein's Rocket and Alex got Tinkerbell.

As we were eating lunch the boys saw Santa and said they wanted to go talk to him so they could tell him what they wanted for Christmas, I was quite surprised by this since last year they wouldn't even go near him. So, after we finished eating we walked over and they both walked right up to Santa told them what they wanted and then sat on his lap for a picture. They are no wearing the clothes I would have chosen but I thought it best to let them go since they were willing. Here's the pic of them on Santa's lap.

Boys can do laundry... and I have the proof

The boys were in the laundry room with me when I started to put clothes into the dryer and they wanted to help. Well, they ended up doing all of it. I will keep these pictures handy for when they tell their wives they don't know how to do laundry:)

Trick or Treat

We made our annual trip out to Frisco to go Trick or Treating in Pacaw's neighborhood. Matthew kept asking when we were going to go and when we finally started he got about 20 minutes into it and said he was done. I think Ryan could have trick or treated all night.

Here are Buzz Lightyear and Woody in front of Pacaw's house before hitting the neighborhood

Volleyball

Alex had her last volleyball game on Thursday, they won!!!! I tried to get an action shot but could never quite time it right.

Trunk or Treat

Our church has an annual Fall Festival which includes Trunk or Treating, Ryan figured out what to do rather quickly and got very excited when candy was being out in his bag. After we got home we were going through the boys bags and Matthew discovered someone had given him some gum and he said " why would they give me gum, I can't have gum". (Matthew has seals on some of his teeth so the dentist advised we keep him away from gum). We then explained to him that everyone does not know he can't have gum.

Halloween Carnival

We went to the annual PTA Halloween Carnival on October 25, the boys got to play games, have snacks and bounce in bounce houses. As you can see, Ryan did not want to wear his costume that day.
