Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween Everyone! Hope everyone has plans to do some Trick or Treating. We will head to my dads in Frisco for Trick or Treating, I started doing this when Alex was little and it seems to have stuck. I'll try to get some pictures of the boys posted in the next few days.

Happy 13th Birthday Alex!!!!

Today Alex is officially a teenager and I can't believe it!!!! We are headed to her last volleyball game of the season tonight, I made cupcakes for her and her teammates to share (she shares her birthday with her friend Lauren). Happy Birthday Lauren!!!

Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Matthew had his first field trip on Thursday, his class met at the Pumpkin Patch. The teachers read some stories to them, they sang us a few of the songs they've been working on and they got to pick out their very own pumpkin. It was a chilly morning but the boys had a great time.

State Fair

We headed to the State Fair on Sunday, October 12. Matthew and Ryan were so excited but I'm pretty sure Ryan was excited because brother was, he had no idea where we were going. These first 3 pictures are of the kids in the car as we are driving to the fair.



This is Big Tex, the mascot of the Fair. Matthew was afraid of him last year (he's really big and has a really deep voice) but he loved him this year.

Matthew was fascinated by the pumpkin carver.

Matthew received a big boy bike with training wheels as a special reward from Pacaw (aka my dad).

29 Days until I officially have a teenager.

Pumpkin Painting

The Early Childhood PTA I belong to has an annual Pumpkin Painting Event and the boys LOVE it!!!! I was a little saddened when I realized this will be Matthew's last year to participate in the PTA events since he will be in Kindergarten next year:(
